Mintage of only 5000 coins!

This stunning new release coin is struck in 1 oz .999 pure silver. The reverse of the coin depicts a colored aerial view of the Great Barrier Reef, framed within the shape of Australia with a seaplane flying overhead. The inscriptions THE LAND DOWN UNDER and GREAT BARRIER REEF also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2014 year-date, and the monetary denomination. The coin will come housed in a unique, contemporary, Australia map-shaped latex case which displays both sides of the coin. The case is packaged within a beautifully illustrated shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
