The first ever incuse silver fractional maple leaf set from the Royal Canadian Mint! The 1oz coin as been accented with a rich red translucent enamel, filling the entire maple leaf. All five coins feature a reverse image by Canadian artist Lilyane Coulombe showing a sugar maple leaf surronunded by a decorative scroll struck incuse into the frosted field, imprinting the texture of the leaf beneath the surface of the fine silver coin an ingenious technique perfected by the Royal Canadian Mint engravers. The set will come in a burgundy clamshell box with a black sleeve with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
